Needed: Visibility Into Obstacles to Progress
Before Whizible™ -- Initiatives are often cross-departmental in nature. A request from the marketing team could involve the PMO team, the Application Development team, the Network Services team, or the CIO. Without a system for tracking the approvals needed to authorize each initiative and which approvals have not yet been given, where any initiative may be blocked can not easily be determined.
After Whizible™ -- With Whizible, each initiative is assigned to an approval process so it passes through various stages of approvals. The stages, number of stages, approval mechanisms, and required percentage of approval are all configurable. If you click on one of the initiative bubbles, it will detail the stages involved and the position of the particular initiative under consideration. Also, an audit trail and initiative history facilitate an overall view of how each initiative has been processed.
